Drum

Drum units are cylindrical components that attract statically charged toner to their surface, which is then indirectly transferred onto the paper using a special belt. Drums, as separate components, are essential parts of A3 printers. The condition of the drums has a crucial impact on print quality. We recommend replacing them according to the specified lifespan provided in our store, which is given for printing at 5% coverage. For selected A3 color devices, one or four separate drums (one for each color) are dedicated, and they are directly mounted on the developer units, depending on the model's design. In the case of black and white devices, only a drum dedicated to black color is, of course, applied.
